All storage is kept on racked pallets (4 feet x 4 feet x 4 feet) for a cost of $3.75 per pallet per month. Call for information on the storage of items that do not fit in these dimensions.
Your items are easily accessible to you by appointment. You may remove items from a pallet and have it returned to storage or remove everything. Remaining items will be returned to storage. A picking fee of $9.00 will be charged when items are pulled from pallets that remain in storage.
You may have your items delivered with Moving and Setups through Facility Operations, or you may deliver your materials personally. Regardless of how the items are delivered, please contact IU Warehouse to set up a time for receiving the items.
Authorized senders should make all storage requests.
IU Warehouse is no longer designated a "closed and secure" warehouse due to necessary changes in space utilization. That designation is required to receive and store records that contain information falling into the "Critical”, "Restricted,” or "University Internal" classifications as described by the University Information Policy Office. This includes anything that would fall under HIPPA and FERPA compliance standards. This also includes information stored on various electronic storage devices as well as the more common hard copy/paper files.
If you need of storage for anything that may fall into any of the classifications mentioned above, the IU Warehouse is no longer an option. Indiana University has thoroughly vetted the following vendors and approved them as providers of secure storage. Please contact and work with either of them directly.
